This stately whaling captain’s home, built in 1765, offers a warm and welcoming place to stay in the Old Historic District, situated just a few steps from the ferry docks, the great restaurants and shops of Nantucket Town, and the historic Whaling Museum. The inn has been carefully restored while maintaining its historic charm and ambiance. Thirteen guest rooms, including spacious queens, kings and suites with private baths, and charming singles and double with shared bath, can accommodate all types of travelers. All guest rooms have air conditioning, free wifi, and TV. Some also have working fireplaces and large HDTVs. Antiques and oriental rugs grace the common areas and many guest rooms. A guest computer is available for your convenience. A delicious ‘continental-plus’ breakfast in our sunny breakfast room, featuring homemade scones, coffee cakes and breads is included in your room rate.
